This documentation will help you pick the right section as a quick introductory crash course to the topic. To follow along, use the file P:\5707\ARC\W3\Release as of 12-06-18\nshap-3.0b3\w3\nshap_w3_core.dta (assuming that you have access to this file and signed the DUA).
